As a Photographer, If you go online and do a search for different organizations or guilds that may interest you; you will see hundreds of them. There are photography guilds practically for every state and local city within those states. Most people I talk with, join these guilds in hopes of making more connections to further their business. Do they really work out for you, or do they just accept annual dues?

People all over, walk around with their cell phone calling themselves photographers. You'll see so many people snapping photos and posting them online but have never held a professional camera. Many will argue, that you don't have to know anything about a camera, but are you really considered a photographer?

New laws were recently established for people who fly drones. Drone operators must now own a Part 107 license and have your drone registered with the FAA if your drone is over a certain weight.

I've had many discussions with clients regarding this subject. I get hired to do a shoot of a customers product, and they always say the famous words: "I Only need about three or four photos, do I get a discount?" It's the never ending famous words of clients that don't understand the work that a photographer does.

There are so many photo editing softwares out there, how do you know which one to choose? Adobe has a large market on the photo editing solutions. There are also a lot of free sources as well. Do they all get you the same results?

Does Anyone else realize this? The moment you buy a new camera, whether it be a DSLR or a video camera; the manufacturer comes out with the newer version in the next couple of months. I just spent thousands of dollars on my equipment, and all of them now have upgraded stuff.
